AHA Registry | Since 2024, HMCS volunteers have been in collaboration with AHA to maximize the opportunities and resources of both organizations to develop, launch, and promote the HCM registry, recognition, and certification programs. Specifically, the project will develop measures, research, quality, programmatic efforts, co-branding initiatives, and governance related to HCM management |
HCM Fellowships |
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy is commonly encountered in cardiovascular practice. Despite increasing awareness, HCM is often unrecognized, misdiagnosed, or mismanaged in many patients.
The HCM Fellowship program provides cardiology fellows or practicing cardiologists with the opportunity to participate in specialized HCM training, including diagnosis, management, and treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) under the guidance of a volume center with experts in the field. The pilot program was developed and tested in 2025 thanks to a grant from BMS. |
